Wow Factor Stay

The host are great and friendly. Excellent homemade breakfast. The house is near to the subway station.

The house is rather small but with all facilities needed.

The hosts are what made this stay memorable. They went out of their way to answer all our questions and help us out. We had wanted the pink room - but we didn't ask ahead, so it might be worth your time to investigate ahead and see which room you want. Room was pretty central, the bed was super comfy and overall it was a nice break from hotels to feel like you're staying in someones house. Totally loved our stay. ;)

HOSTS: Our hosts were incredible!! So friendly and easy to talk to. You can see how much they love running this B&B. Easy to communicate with before and during the stay. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was prepared with lots of love and care. Flavor was excellent, and the way it's served is so cute too. Really WOW factor. ROOM: The room/suite we had was small, but was perfect for our needs and was clean and cute. You might have problems if your bags are too big, but we made it work anyway, even with two huge pieces of luggage and some small bags. Nice to have a kitchen too. LOCATION: Hongdae is the best district to stay in Seoul for sure. Great cafes, entertainment, restaurants, street food, and night shopping all within a few blocks' walk. The nice thing about this house is that it's on the other side of the main street, and so despite being in Hongdae, it's in a quiet and peaceful area. Also just a 5 min walk to the nearest subway stop, which is part of the Airport Line.

At some point in our stay, we noticed that there was some (black) mold forming around/at the back of the main door, which is metal. Easily remedied by wiping it clean with some antimold spray and airing it out, though. We just noticed after a few days, since I was sensitive to its odor having had a bad reaction to it in the past at our own home. Wasn't that bothered about it overall, since the bedroom was separate, but this should be cleaned, especially as it gets hot and humid in the summer. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Feels like home, breakfast delicious (Korean food), the owner very kind.

For 5 person, the room is on the third floor, it is kind a hard if travelling with senior Or child.

The room was very comfortable with two queen size beds and one sofa/bed. The interiors were very relaxing and warming. They had refrigerator, kitchen with enough supply to stay, a box of tissue papers, and some bathroom items like hand soap, shampoo, hair treatment, and body wash. They also had two towels for each person, a big bath towel and a small face towel. We stayed for three days and were able to get a new towel by messaging the owner. Almost everything was satisfying! At last but not least, the owner was truly a nice and kind person! Thank you!

The shower was a bit difficult to use. The toilet and shower aren’t separated and we needed use the toilet with wet floors after use. Was not very uncomfortable nor very comfortable, they were ok. Thank you.

It's perfect location arnd hongdae, hapjeong and mangwon area. Room was nice as same as pictures and nice host! Breakfast was excellent and I highly recommend this hostel.

Hmmm nothing

Wow Factor was a cute guest house located right in the middle of Hongdae. The owners were nice and helpful. I love all the decoration. Very cute and homey. Breakfast was awesome. You will get surprise every morning ^^ (order breakfast and you'll know what I meant).

The only thing I'm not certain of is they didn't clean the room for us. This is my first time staying at guest house so I'm not sure if it's normal.

We loved the breakfast that they prepared every morning. Also they provided quick responses to any of our questions. I was sick during my stay and they made me a Korean remedy to help with my cough.

The place isn’t too far from Hongdae station and other bus stops. It’s in walking range to the famous Hongdae neighborhood, which is convenient for tourists who like shopping and like eating. The heater is in good condition. The room feels warm and is fully equipped, a little too small though. Everything in the house is so clean! We like the place’s atmosphere. There is always good background music in the co-space.

The host isn’t as friendly as expected. They couldn’t really give us any recommendation on the neighborhood. We only spoke words, which is fine to me but some people might wanna reconsider. The breakfast is considered expensive in my opinion. It’s below my expectations. It is healthy and feels very Korean though, but there was no meat or eggs at all, hardly any protein. There is a restaurant just a block away serving breakfast buffet with a variety of foods, bakery, dairy and fruits for only 9000 krw. With the breakfast’s price of 10000 krw, i think i could find a better valued Korean breakfast. The room is stated to be 25 sq.m. so i expected it to be a little larger, I guess 25 sq.m. is both the bathroom and the bedroom included, which the bathroom already occupies half of the space. The bedroom hardly fits 2 Asian females and 2 28” bags. i booked the deluxe mint room btw.
